Canan Altinkas is a professional artist. She has a Ph.D in Art Education. She has more than 20 years of experience in art practice.
She is an artist and an academician.
She started her art education in her early ages. She had classic art education and has been participating exhibitions since high school years professionally.
She also worked as an Assistant Professor for 15 years and taught various art courses.
She has several articles published and participated in many group exhibitions and has 6 solo exhibition. She also contributed to two international Biennials as a member of curator and organizing committee.
She is currently working in her studio in Kitchener Ontario.
